Nice to meet you.
About me

My name is Felix Einig. I am a professional tennis player from Koblenz, Germany.
My parents and my coach recognized my passion and love for tennis at a young age. I started training at the national camp in Koblenz when I was eight years old. I quickly found success in national junior tennis, finishing the year consistently among the top 10 players in Germany.
That was the time when my dream of becoming a professional tennis player was born.
In 2018, I made my first professional appearance at the ATP Challenger tournament in Koblenz — a moment that fueled my ambition even more.
In 2020, I won the Rheinland- Pfalz Men’s Indoor Championships and climbed into the top 300 of the German men’s rankings. These results earned me a full athletic scholarship to Hawai‘i Pacific University, competing in NCAA Division II college tennis. Our team was consistently ranked among the top five nationally.
In 2021, I played a strong debut season for HPU, finishing with a 9–2 record and earning an individual national ranking of No. 34.
That season helped me grow not only as a player but also as a person — building mental and physical strength through dedication and persistence. It reignited my childhood dream, and I decided to fully commit to pursuing a professional tennis career.
In January 2022, I reached an important milestone by qualifying and winning my first main-draw match at a professional tournament at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca. That week, I earned my first ATP point, placing me at No. 1550 in the world rankings.
After that high point, injuries set me back. Recovery became my priority, and through that process, I learned to listen to my body, rebuild trust, and grow with every challenge.
Fully healthy again in early 2023, I started the year by winning both the Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden Men’s Indoor Championships. Soon after, I made my first ATP Challenger main-draw appearance in doubles.
Later that year, I signed a player contract with the Rochusclub Düsseldorf, former Bundesliga champions. We won the league and earned promotion to the 3rd Bundesliga.
By the end of 2023, I evolved further as an athlete and built a strong professional environment — starting a coaching collaboration with former ATP player Sami Reinwein and assembling a management team to support my journey on and off the court. With this great team, I entered 2024 full of motivation and drive.
In July 2024, I competed at a 15k ITF event in Poland, achieving my first season goal: qualifying for the main draw and winning my first-round match against world No. 1106. That result brought me back into the ATP rankings — a big moment after fighting through highs and lows, and a renewed reminder of how much I love the game.
New Energy for 2025
In November, I reached another milestone by defeating Tim Handel, Germany’s No. 15 and a top-500 ATP player. I ended my previous coaching partnership, joined TEC Darmstadt (Hessenliga), and gained new support from sponsors such as Gorges Tent Event. With fresh momentum and strong backing, I’m all-in for 2025 — fully committed and excited for what lies ahead.
Staying Strong Through Setbacks
Injuries slowed me down early in the year, but I never lost belief. I kicked off the clay season in March with a three-week ITF trip to Croatia, focused on training and matches. In the third week, I reached the doubles semifinal — a solid step forward and proof that the work is paying off.
Gaining Ground, One Match at a Time
In April, I played a two-week ITF tour in Antalya. I qualified for the 30k main draw, beating an ATP-900 player in the final qualifying round — a big win. In the main draw, I lost to a top-400 player but took valuable lessons with me.
Summer 2025 – Building Momentum
In June, I qualified for a professional ITF tournament in Belgium and narrowly lost 4–6, 4–6 to a player ranked around No. 600 ATP after leading 4–0 in the first set. It was another strong sign that my clay-court game was developing well. Just a few weeks later, I made my debut for TEC Darmstadt in the Hessenliga, where I finished the season with an 8–0 singles and 6–2 doubles record. Our team placed second in the league — just one point behind the champions — and I felt in my best form so far.
Turning Point in Wetzlar
Right after the league season, I carried that momentum into a professional ITF tournament in Wetzlar, where I qualified again and played one of the longest and toughest matches of my career — a 3h50 battle against a Dutch player ranked around No. 900 ATP. I had five match points but couldn’t close it out, losing 6–3, 6–7, 6–7. Despite the loss, it proved my level and fighting spirit. Unfortunately, during that match I suffered a calf muscle tear, which forced me into a four-week break and interrupted my strong summer form.
New Chapter – Team & Growth
During my recovery phase, I took the time to realign my entire training structure. After a longer period without a coach, I started working with Rameez Junaides, a former ATP professional who reached a career-high of No. 60 in doubles and Top 300 in singles. With more than 20 years on tour, he brings immense knowledge and perspective to my game. From the first day, our connection felt natural — both personally and professionally. This partnership brings new energy, trust, and structure into my training, giving me clarity and confidence for 2026 and beyond. Within just a few months, I’ve already made significant technical and tactical progress, laying the foundation for long-term stability and growth.
Looking Ahead – Antalya & Beyond
With renewed strength and a clear vision, I’m ready to finish the year on a high note. On November 14, I’ll travel to Antalya, Turkey, for a four-week ITF swing — my final stretch of the 2025 season. It’s the perfect opportunity to build on the momentum from this summer, translate hard work into results, and carry strong form into 2026.
Fully dedicated, fully present — continuing the journey where dedication sees dreams come true.
